Plagiarism Policy

Advances in Medical Informatics enforces a strict anti-plagiarism policy. All submissions are screened using advanced plagiarism detection software. Manuscripts identified with substantial overlap or unauthorized copying are immediately rejected. If plagiarism is discovered post-publication, the Editor-in-Chief, possibly in collaboration with a dedicated committee, will undertake a thorough investigation. Confirmed cases of plagiarism will result in:

  1. Notification and disciplinary action by the author's affiliated institution.
  2. Immediate removal of the plagiarized content from the journal's website, with a "Plagiarized Manuscript" label appended.
  3. Suspension or termination of the offending author's account and a prohibition on future submissions for a period of 3 to 5 years.
  4. Public disclosure of the author's misconduct on the journal's website.
  5. Implementation of additional measures as deemed appropriate by the editorial board.
