Article Processing Charges (APC)

To sustain our open access model, Journal of Advances in Medical Informatics (AIMI) requires an Article Processing Charge (APC) of CAD 150 for accepted manuscripts. This fee encompasses:

  • Professional Production: High-quality typesetting and formatting for publication.
  • Digital Hosting: Reliable online availability and accessibility of published articles.
  • Indexing Services: Inclusion in major academic databases to enhance visibility and impact.
  • Customer Support: Dedicated assistance for authors throughout the publication process.

Payment Details

  1. Responsibility: The corresponding author is responsible for arranging payment, either personally or through their affiliated institution.
  2. Fee Determination: The APC is fixed at the time of editorial acceptance.
  3. Payment Methods:
    • Bank Transfer: Details provided upon acceptance.
    • Institutional Purchase Orders: Arrangements coordinated through the corresponding author's institution.
  4. Waivers: APC waivers are available for authors demonstrating financial need. Requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. All applications for discretionary APC waivers and discounts should be made at the point of manuscript submission; requests made during the review process or after acceptance are unable to be considered.
  5. Refund Policy:  APCs are non-refundable.
